Providence is a non-profitable organisation started in the year 2006 to serve the people of Vaiyavoor, mainly focussing on orphans, semi-orphans, physically and mentally challenged children to lead a social life in the community by aiding them with education, food, clothing and medical attention.

Help the destitute, physically and mentally challenged children to look beyond barriers and construct them with purposeful living.

A Day Care Centre was established in 2012 in a rural area in Kanchipuram to help people in and around Kanchipuram with developmental disorders like intellectual disability, autism, cerebral palsy, locomotor disability, multiple disability, down syndrome, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder for children with emotional disturbances. We are committed to providing evidence-based practice techniques in a safe learning environment with qualified special education teachers and therapists dedicated to enhancing the health and wellness of children and to bridge them back into mainstream society.

Providence was started by the vision of helping the destitute, beginning in the remote villages with field work like -

  • Students from poor families going to the government school were regularly given breakfast in the mornings and snacks in the evenings.
  • Free tuitions in the evening.
  • Medical camp for the village people
  • Eye camp
  • Fitness camp
  • School bags were given to school going children.
  • Conducted several motivation programs among the children.

    Who has a heart of gold, oversees the daily operations of the center and fosters an inclusive, encouraging environment for kids undergoing special education, occupational and speech treatment, and pre-vocational therapy.
